Nese Sahin

There is something, for me, about the use of text in mixed media that is consistently intriguing. The mystery quotient goes up quite a bit and I'm drawn in...I want to know what is being said, what warranted a literal manifestation.

This is work by Turkish artist Nese Sahin.

Le livre est source de savoir, à condition d'en posséder la langue. L'écriture dans une langue étrangère, devient une autre source, celle du questionnement et de du mystère. Sans traduction, le livre n'est plus qu'un objet et peut, alors devenir un support d'expression pour un autre artiste. Ce que tu nous montres, très bien ici.
