Etsy and the Front Page...

It's a pretty neat feeling to see my art show up on Etsy's front page...

The front page above is the third one to feature my art since I opened shop @ the beginning of the year (that's any moment now... in the bottom right) --- each time this exposure has been due to one particular person's 'treasury' collection being picked up and featured by the Etsy admin team --- Cat has got a great eye for color and composition...and that elusive ability to create a 'wow' factor of everything just coming together and drawing people in.

Etsy is such an interesting place --- everyone wants to succeed and you'd think this would lead to lot of competition, etc. and instead, from my experience, the desire for sales, promotion & success seems to manifest a collaborative and inclusive side effect (for many, not all) of concrete support and cheer leading for others as well as your self. It's pretty grand. So thank you Uncorked! Go visit Cat's shop on my behalf (and also because she makes really cool things out of reclaimed cork)!

And for the record: The
first Etsy font page, the second ...
